Rough ride...

This elderly couple from Tamil Nadu are forced to depend on their rickety cart to navigate their way through the streets of Kochi. The cart, which is their only means of livelihood, also doubles up as their home on most days. However, the ride has never been easy in this commercial hub. In this photo, the couple attempts to push their cart through the uneven footpath in the city, making movement difficult for them.
