Description

This article describes the origins of the International Fact-Finding Commission, the enquiry mechanism provided for in the Geneva Conventions, the functioning of the Commission, the ICRC's role as regards enquiries in general and within the specific context of Article 90 of Protocol I, and the ICRC's relations with the future Commission.
