The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is collaborating with v-shesh Learning Services Private Limited to host a round table with the theme ‘Empowering Abilities, Elevating Careers’ on sustainable career pathways for PwDs on 11 July 2024 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. This is a sequel to the programme that was hosted in September 2023 to promote mainstreaming of PwDs in India.

This curated event aims to centre stage the need for and the benefits of moving from inclusive jobs to inclusive careers for PwDs incorporating discussions, insights, invaluable networking opportunities, all aimed at fostering more inclusive workplaces. It is hoped that in addition to knowledge sharing and collaboration, the session will help each participant launch or enhance their inclusive action plans that suit their respective scope.

The event will have participation of professionals from corporates, international organizations, NGOs, CSR foundations, government and others who are interested in implementing inclusive  practices and policies and committed to advancing disability inclusion in the workplace.
